Let it begin – New Windsurf Movie from Federico Morisio

Federico Morisio is super happy and excited to share his new windsurf video entirely shot in Maui, Hawaii, last December. He says it was a blast to shoot it & judging by the footage his skills are coming along nicely 😉

Pro windsurfer Federico Morisio had this to say about his new windsurf movie…

“I’m really thankful for all this, it’s awesome and I couldn’t imagine it just one year ago. But I still consider it as the beginning: for always bigger goals, bigger achievements and better action. The level of the other riders is still light years away, and that’s why I work hard everyday to fill up the gap and to reach my goal becoming one of the best ones out there.”

Federico Morisio is an up and coming pro windsurfer from Italy, a quick low down on his stats..

1st PWA event entered, Trials Tenerife
Sail number: I-676
Born in Italy on July 13, 1995.

His huge passion for windsurfing started when he was very young thanks to his father and all the great summer and winter trips he was able to do: Jericoacora in Brasil, Fuerteventura, Morocco, Cabarete in Santo Domingo, South Africa, Lanzarote, Denmark, Tarifa and week ends in France.

His best result so far has been finishing 29th at the PWA NoveNove Aloha Classic 2015.
He also did:
3rd in the trials heat of the PWA Tenerife World Cup 2015.
3rd in the trials heat of the PWA Kia Cold Hawaii Cup 2015.

He has spent the last 2 years traveling and training wave riding and jumps around the world: Oman, Maui, South Africa and then Gran Canaria and Tenerife, to be ready for the PWA World Tour. As an athlete he trains out of the water daily and follows a rigid diet.

Windsurfing is his life, he has big goals for the future and also wants to represent Italy in the windsurfing elite!

Summer is here in the UK, the perfect time for you to get into windsurfing & capture some excitement you see here in Federico’s windsurf video. The best way is to start by taking a Full Beginners Windsurf Course then develop the skills you will be taught by renting windsurf equipment.
