New Tide, Wind & Weather Forecast For Poole Harbour

To add to our blog post all about the ‘Ultimate Wind & Weather Forecast For Poole Harbour‘ there is a new forecasting website called ‘‘ that focuses on combining tidal information with wind & weather forecasts, making it easy to see the best times to be out on the water.

Their slogan is ‘Tide. Wind. Weather. Together’ and it does seem like a good idea. They use a visual rating system that lets you know at a glance if all the elements are coming together to make it a good windsurfing session. The extra tidal information is great & again there is a visual indicator showing whether the tide is rising, falling or on the turn.

“Customise your Skegs experience – Skegs aims to provide a personalised service by assessing conditions for you, so all you need to worry about is making time to be on the water. The intelligent rating system on our forecast pages uses a range of factors to highlight the best times. Adjust them for your needs here.” – Skegs Website

All in all the Skegs website is a nice addition to the existing wind & weather forecasting sites we use for monitoring what is going on at Poole Harbour.
